HOUSE DELIVERED FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

How long will it take to receive my tote?

  • Your tote will arrive in approximately 6 weeks from the date we receive your completed design tasks (questionnaire, wall images, images and dimensions of existing furniture you would like to be worked into the design, room measurements/floor plan and inspiration images).

What is included in my House Delivered tote?

  • You will receive a complete design plan that includes a scaled floor-plan, sketches and elevations to show details and scale, samples of materials we specify including fabrics, paint and wallcoverings, and a shopping list detailing where and how to purchase each item.

Will you estimate in advance the cost of items for my room?

  • Your House Questionnaire asks you to specify one of three tiers of pricing before we begin. While designing your space we are mindful of your specified furnishings budget. Please be aware that these are only targets that will help inform our design process and selections and not guarantees. Once you receive your tote you're able to determine what items you purchase and your timeline for doing so. 

Will I be making purchases for my room through Jamie House Design?

  • In most cases you have the option of making purchases through Jamie House Design taking advantage of our great vendor relationships. In cases that you make the purchase yourself you will be provided a link. All of your purchasing selections will also be available when you log into your Client Portal page.  

I've submitted my House Questionnaire, measurements and inspiration images but I've changed the room I want designed. Is it possible to change rooms?

  • You are able to change rooms before your design tasks are submitted but once you have submitted all of your design tasks we begin working on your room right away. We begin work right away in order to get your House Delivered room designed and your Tote in the mail to you within six weeks.

What is your refund policy?

  •  You are able to receive a full refund (minus any Paypal or Credit Card fees) if Jamie House Design is notified within seven days of your payment OR before all of your Design Tasks have been submitted, whichever comes first. If you wish to cancel your room please notify us via info@jamiehousedesign.com as soon as possible.

How do I know all of the specified furnishings will fit in my room?

  •  We rely on the measurements you send us to create scaled floor-plans and elevations. It is very important that you accurately measure your space. Please follow our instructions carefully, paying special attention to doors. We cannot be responsible for any incorrect information provided to us. We strongly recommend that you re-measure prior to placing product orders. 

What if I want to make changes to some of my selections after I receive my Tote?

  • Jamie House Design is committed to designing spaces you love. We are happy to accommodate up to three changes per room.

 Can I call and speak with a Designer about my space?

  • House Delivered is exclusively an online service. Designers are available to answer questions via email and your Client Portal.  

Do you keep a record of my room design and selections in case I want to design another space with House Delivered?

  • Yes we keep all of your files and your selections are accessible to you 24/7 via your Client Portal login. In fact we also offer a 10% discount on your next House Delivered design when you submit finished photos of your space to us. We love seeing your completed rooms!
