Colquitt St. New Construction

For this new construction modern home we partnered with CM Batts Development to create a spec home different than what we’ve seen on the market in Houston. We took our cues for style from a combination of Georgian and modern styles. The result is a space that feels contemporary and thoughtful with interesting materials and details as a backdrop.

Our construction plan centered on the less but better approach. Every decision had to be thoughtful, contemporary with a traditional lean, and of the highest quality. The sheetrock designs in the ceilings and staircase aren’t typically seen in spec homes. Designs in mirrors throughout help invoke a sense of drama in an otherwise simple space.

The restrained design brings to mind Coco Chanel’s famous quote, “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off.”
