Eastshore Outdoor Living

In this beautiful exterior collaboration with the busy homeowners we were able to recreate their cool traditional style in their outdoor areas. We took our cues for style from their stunning Georgian Revival home. The result is a space that feels modern and fresh but with traditional themes and nature as a backdrop.

Our first priority was to make the large blank wall in the living space into a focal. We collaborated with For All Occasions in creating a wall of faux boxwood and then hung an antique French mirror over it. Then in keeping with the traditional side of the home we selected a mix of outdoor furnishings but kept all of the upholstery in a black and white stripe. Even the custom outdoor banquet seating is in black and white stripes. Keeping the same fabric helped us add interest through texture and blue and white porcelain without creating a visually busy exterior living space. The custom outdoor sheers add to the drama while maintaining a sense of cozy.

The restrained yet bold color palette consists of black and white stripes, blue and white porcelain, woven textures, and natural elements.
